This week’s blog post tackles all our clients’ commonly asked questions when renting for a concert or live event. These questions might save you some time if you are a producer, coordinator, or director. Let’s dive in.
What are your power requirements for a weekend event?
We want to get the vehicles on the side and build our setup around them.
Power Requirements for all of our units are 220 Volt 50 Amp single face outlet (receptacle #14 – 50R). Remember to have a certified electrician wire the bus to shore power. Setting up the units is no problem, but bear in mind the hours you will need on-site, which takes us into the following question.
Is your team able to provide fixed pricing? We have a schedule of over the standard 12 Hr production day…?
Absolutely! Getting your support vendors to flow with your production schedule is best.
We can quote any daily production schedule from 8 Hrs and up. So just let us know your daily schedule, and we will happily accommodate you.
Knowing your schedule is vital when setting your camp around our units. Setups tend to run you a shorter than the final day when you factor in the length of the event and the breakdown afterward.
We are proud to say our estimates always mirror our final invoices and rarely allow our clients to go into overtime.
Our clients are performers and usually like to kick back and relax. Do you have a smoking policy?
We want our clients to be as comfortable as possible and don’t like to limit them. So our smoking policy is to send the unit out for deep cleaning, which costs $750 and charge our client. Most of our clients prefer to pay for the deep cleaning and not have to limit their talent.
Of course, every project is unique in its way. So, we hope that these commonly asked questions when renting for a concert or live event helped you prepare for your production. Although these questions are common, you may have a different question, for which we encourage you to call us directly at 800-779-6642. Or, fill out our contact form, and we will answer all those questions or doubts about making your project a successful one.
