Fashion shoot questions are common in our business. In this week’s blog, we are tackling common questions for clients in the fashion industry. Over the years, we’ve received hundreds and thousands of calls, and you asked us some common questions. So before you shop, see those common questions below to better prepare yourself for that upcoming shoot.
- Do these units have space for a wardrobe?
Yes, most of our units have built-in racks. Depending on the size and demand of the garments, we have the perfect units to carry them. To name two ideal wardrobe trailers, I would say to check out the AMBASSADOR, which has its direct entry point in the back and 18 ft of built-in wardrobe racks.
Long wardrobe racks are ideal if you have a high volume of clothing. However, if it’s low or moderate, check out the Galaxy; it has the entire back area dedicated to the wardrobe. Either choice, your fashion project will be a complete success.
- Is there space for HMU?
Yessss, yess, and yessss. Our units all come equipped with vanities that are a stylist’s DREAM comes true.
Choosing the right wardrobe vehicle is dependent on production demands and wardrobe volume. But, once again, it comes down to the aesthetic of your choice.
But this specific question involves all of our units. So our advice would be that if you have a single talent, you can situate them in the GALAXY or PEARL as they incorporate HMU for a single talent and a small team.
Larger groups situate nicely in the BLUE or AMBASSADOR. Look no further than the PRESIDENTIAL if you have a star talent and want to give them the VIP treatment.
- My shoot has a tight budget. Do I need to incorporate HMU + WARDROBE + CATERING in a single unit?
Only look at our two-door units for these tasks, mainly because you want to be able to divide
accordingly. Settling between the AMBASSADOR or the BLUE won’t be easy but rest assured you will be able to incorporate all of your needs into either of these two powerhouses. Because these units have so much interior space, they can include hair makeup, catering, and holding in the front and reserve the back area for the wardrobe department. These vehicles best feature is honestly the versatility of the two entry points.
- Are you able to take out a permit for our fashion shoots?
Unfortunately, no. We could do it in the past, but now the production houses themselves have to take these out.
As a third-party vendor, we do not have all the details of your shoot. Nevertheless, we can provide you with the MAKE, MODEL, PLATE NUMBER, STATE, and SPECS needed for the vehicle of your choice.
