Welcome to On Time Elite (OTE), where we make waves in the entertainment industry as the ultimate fixers for all your celebrity and production bus rental needs. My name is Cris, and I’m the booking director extraordinaire at OTE, with 11 years of experience under my belt. In this week’s blog post, we’ll be diving into some exciting changes that we’ve implemented to better serve our clients, specifically when it comes to union jobs and booking protocols.
Union Projects
For our returning clients, you know that union jobs could be a bit tricky when it came to hiring OTE vehicles. Previously, clients had to hire both from the hall and from OTE for a driver/operator. But with our brand new fleet, we’ve made sure to spare no expense in creating units that can be easily managed by union drivers. So if you find yourself coordinating a union project, fret not, because we’ve got you covered with our state-of-the-art vehicles that can be driven and operated by union staff. Of course, if you still prefer an OTE trained specialist, just let me know, and we’ll make it happen.
A Change You Might Not Like
Now, I have to admit that there’s one change that might not make our clients too happy, and that’s the fact that OTE no longer allows clients to ride inside the vehicles. We know that this was a convenient option in the past, both on-site and on your pockets, but we’ve had to make some adjustments to provide you with the best and safest vehicles possible. We’ve gone the extra mile by building custom sofas from scratch, but in the process, we realized that seatbelts are not always aesthetically pleasing. However, your safety is always our highest concern, and I’ll personally be relaying this information to each and every client to ensure that we’re all on the same page before peak season hits us.
Change with Booking
Speaking of our new fleet, I know I’ve mentioned it multiple times since the new year, and I’ve seen the anticipation from our clients. We’ve been fortunate to join your teams and we truly appreciate the vote of confidence you place in us. This year, we want to continue honoring our tried and true format of placing holds, but if there are any challenges with confirming bookings, we’ll do our best to accommodate with alternative options or unfortunately release the hold altogether. We understand that these changes may have an impact on your projects, so please always coordinate with me to find the perfect scenario for your needs. You can discuss your project with us as many times as you feel is necessary, as we’re committed to being transparent with you every step of the way.
At OTE, our dedication to you, your projects, and your confidence in us will never change. While we may make internal adjustments, we’re fully aware of the impact they have on you, and we strive to be as transparent as possible. So whether you’re a new client or a returning one, we’re here to continue providing you with top-notch service and support to ensure your photoshoots, campaigns, events, and concerts are nothing short of a huge success on the East Coast and beyond. Let’s make magic happen together!
